It is possible to install hal91 on a harddrive, booting up is lightning
fast, and it is quite ideal if your enviroment hangs.
Instructions:
- Copy the contents of the hal91 diskette to your harddrive. (You need vmlinuz,
initrd.gz, and hal91.bat on the root. hal91.ini and add.tgz must be in /hal91/
as on the disk
- Edit /boot.bat so that is points to the device where you've put hal91.
(e.g. /dev/hda1 for the first harddrive)
- Type boot.bat, and hal91 should be booting.. (you can't be in windows95
while doing this.)
